This LGBT-owned gay bar has been a cornerstone of Seattle queer nightlife since the owners transformed a mid-century lounge in 1980 into a bold, unapologetic sanctuary with the rallying motto “DARE TO BE DIFFERENT.” Celebrated as the city’s oldest leather bar, it champions playfulness and safety for all identities — lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, non-binary, queer, asexual, intersex and questioning. Expect themed shocks of fun like underwear nights, seasonal blowouts and the ever-popular makeup parties every third Friday at 9 PM, plus historic theme nights such as Underbear, Vibrator and Western.
