What is Coming Out?
Coming Out? is a Start Up founded by 3 friends. We created an app for the LGBTQAI+ community to find all the best queer-spots and feel safe no matter where you go.
Where can I download the app?
The app will be found on Apple Store and Google Play worldwide. Go to menu > download the app and you will find the QR code 💖
Do you have instagram?
Sure we do! @comingout.app is the official instagram account, go check it out and follow us!!
Who adds the bars and places?
We do — with love, glitter, and a bit of automation. We curate places through research, community tips, and AI-powered suggestions. Want us to check out a new place? Email us 📥
Can I trust the places listed?
We prioritize queer-owned, safe, and inclusive venues — but local experiences may vary. That’s why community reviews and identity-based ratings are key 💡
How can my bar, art gallery, nightclub be shown in the app?
If you know a queer spot that is not on our app, please contact us over email (hello@comingout-app.com) or instagram (@comingout.app) — we will get it sorted out!
Also, within the APP you can go to «Settings» > «I know a queer spot» and add it yourself! ✨
HOW TO DELETE MY Coming Out? ACCOUNT
You can easily delete your account from Coming Out? App following these steps:
- Go to SETTINGS (⚙️ icon at top left corner)
- Scroll to the bottom
- Find and click «Delete my account»
- Confirm by clicking «Accept»
Done! Your account and data will be deleted permanently.
You can always create a new one after! We’ll be happy to see you again.
Request manual deletion: If you have trouble deleting your account, contact us at hello@comingout-app.com with the subject «Delete account».
What does the “Queerness” % mean?
It shows how many users with similar identities rated a place positively. So, if you’re non-binary, it shows how other non-binary folks experienced the venue. It’s like queer Yelp — but actually useful 🏳️⚧️✨
Can anyone use the app?
Absolutely. While it’s made for the LGBTQAI+ community, allies are welcome — as long as you respect the space 💅🏽
Can I leave a review or flag a place?
Yes! You can leave a review (1 to 5 rainbows) and share your thoughts. You can also flag anything unsafe or wrong. We moderate everything with care.
I have a safety concern. What do I do?
Email us or use our Contact Form. We take every report seriously — especially those related to safety, harassment, or child protection.
