Schwules Museum *
Sobre este lugar
Founded in 1985, this iconic queer museum is a glittering archive-meets-playground where history, art and activism meet in bold, tender, and surprising ways. Expect rotating exhibitions, rich archival holdings and research-driven displays that celebrate lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, non-binary, queer, intersex, asexual and questioning lives — lovingly collected by a mostly-volunteer crew. It’s a safe, smart and slightly rebellious space for reflection, discovery and community connection: think thoughtful exhibitions, film and event programming, and opportunities to dive into queer histories you won’t find anywhere else. Perfect for curious visitors and local queers who want to learn, remember, and party-with-purpose. Closed on Tuesdays.
