Evolution Wonderlounge
About this place
Step into a glitter-drenched late-night playground that’s proudly served Edmonton’s LGBT+ community since 2013. This high-energy venue draws a diverse 25 to 45 crowd of locals and visitors who come to dance, cheer on fierce drag performances, and groove to live music. Plan to arrive after 11pm—the DJ ramps up, the dance floor fills, and the drag shows hit peak charisma. More than just nightlife, it’s a community hub that has donated over $400,000 to local causes, so every night out feels like support and celebration. Playful, polished, and unapologetically inclusive, this is a safe, celebratory space for queer people of all identities to connect, sparkle, and be seen.
