Newly taken over by a gay couple, this Brighton pub sparkles with warm, open-minded hospitality and a cheeky streak of cabaret glamour. It’s a lively, inclusive spot where lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, trans, non-binary, asexual, intersex and questioning folk (and allies) are made to feel celebrated and safe. Expect raucous Pride weekend cabaret — recent line-ups featured Claire Benjamin, Rock Hart, Danny Ash, FeliX Le Freak and a headline set from Miss Hope Springs — alongside singalong karaoke, live music and hearty pub food. Chic but unpretentious, it’s perfect for post-work drinks, late-night performances and making new queer connections. Note: closed on Mondays, so plan your sparkle-filled nights accordingly.
