This iconic bar in the heart of Greenwich Village was raided by police in 1969, but the patrons that night fought back, starting the gay liberation movement. This place remains America's most famous LGBTQ+ bar and hosts theme parties, karaoke nights, drag shows, and various weekly/monthly events.
