Since 1864, right in the heart of Munich, this is the traditional meeting place for Munich's cultural workers and the gay and lesbian scene. In addition to Bavarian cuisine, the formerly home-style restaurant now also offers international and smaller dishes. Previously known for its rather hearty dishes, the restaurant has adapted to changing nutritional awareness through several modernizations. The daily changing menu as well as the regular menu now includes traditional dishes such as roast pork and other classics as well as modern cuisine.
