A glittering, slightly clandestine gay sauna in Guangzhou that opened in December 2015 and quickly became a midweek and weekend hotspot for those seeking warmth, tunes and queer connection. Spread across three floors, it boasted a dry sauna, steam room, a cheeky little maze and a private play room, plus a cozy lounge with karaoke, a tiny gym (ping-pong included) and a bar — all with free Wi‑Fi. Directions were delightfully low‑key (ring the bell after following a blue sign near Dashi Metro). Note: this venue was reported permanently closed in October 2017, but its memory lives on as a reminder of how vital safe, spirited spaces are for queer communities of all identities.
