Hanlan’s Point - Toronto's gay beach
Sobre este lugar
Warm, glittering and gloriously unapologetic, this clothing‑optional shoreline is a short ferry hop from Toronto’s Queen’s Quay where queers of every stripe can soak up sun, swim, and be their radiant selves. Photography is banned—privacy first—so feel free to relax and commune with friends, lovers, and strangers who become friends. It’s famous across North America for relaxed nudity and draws a lively, diverse gay crowd without being exclusive. Pack snacks and drinks (there’s minimal on‑site food), bring sunscreen, and follow island signs to the beach. Perfect for daytime gatherings, picnics, and easygoing social energy—an affirming, playful space where trans, non-binary, lesbian, bisexual, asexual and queer folks are seen, celebrated, and welcome.
