Just past Herring Cove lies Provincetown’s unofficial gay nudist stretch — a narrow, magnetic slice of sand where sun, music and gorgeous bodies mix. Reachable via a salty trail off Province Lands Road (end of Bradford Street), the walk takes 10–15 minutes from the bike fence and crosses flat marshes — sometimes with waist‑deep water at high tide. The liveliest crowd is immediately on your left; go further left for quieter, more nude and secluded vibes. This is a place to celebrate queer joy, body freedom and summer connections — but come prepared: there are no shops or facilities, poison ivy in the dunes, seals (don’t swim near them), and occasional great whites. Bring water, sunscreen, and your best gaydar — and look out for one another.
