A glittering, homey downtown queer spot that lived loud and proud — until it closed on October 5, 2024. Known for inventive chai-and-coffee cocktails, playful shot flights, and regular live music, this was a sanctuary of sparkle where attentive bartenders and warm crowds made everyone feel seen. The venue pulsed with creative energy: improv classes, poetry nights, open-mic, karaoke, burlesque, belly dance, dance parties and drag brought community, joy, and late-night laughter. As one of the nation’s few dedicated lesbian bars, it carved out a rare, celebratory space for queer connection and expression — a beloved local chapter in Denver’s nightlife story that welcomed lesbians, gay men, bisexual, trans and non-binary folks, queer, asexual, intersex, and questioning people alike.
