Thomaskeller in Hamburg is a cult rustic basement bar and very popular with the gay scene located in the gay neighborhood. The bar itself is cozy and invites you to have fresh beers. Not only to meet men, but also to socialize in a good pub style. A former brothel, the space was converted into a bar by a man named Thomas back in the 1970s, while his friend Helmut now oversees the operation. Red cushion stools and other deep red details recall the bar's origins. Definitely one from the old days.
